Subdivision Clean-up/Spruce-up Day   May 19th, 2012

Please meet at the phase IV pond at 10 am.  We will be doing projects on the play park and the walking area around the pond.  Come be a part of your community.  You can meet the board members.  We look forward to seeing you there.

We will be adding wood chips at the play park,  weeding the area on Maverick Trail where the sign is,  litter and dog poop scooping, and more. 

WEEDS

Weed letters will be going out soon.  If your yard is full of weeds they need to be treated/removed.  You are responsible for your property all the way up to the road.  It is part of the Covenants.  If homeowners do not address their weed issue we will have no choice but to have the weeds sprayed at a cost of $150 per yard.  This will be billed back to the homeowner.  You are our neighbors this is no fun for us having to enforce the rules but we were elected to do so.  Please remove the weeds from your yards.  A hand sprayer and weed killer can be picked up relatively inexpensively at any hardware, lumber store, or major retailer.  We have had the main open areas in the subdivision sprayed this week.  However it rained so if all the weeds are not gone we will be spraying again.  Some of the areas in Phase IV belong to the sewer district and are not our property.

Monthly Board Meetings

Monthly VGHOA board meetings are held at 6pm in the Comfort Inn breakfast room, the second Thursday of each month. All VGHOA owners are welcome to attend.

OptiCom is the fiber optics internet company that ran lines throughout our subdivision.  They were allowed to do this because they are a utility, and they used utility easements. They have a web site http://www.mt-opticom.com/contact.htm where you can also contact them with issues about your yards.  They are required to clean up any messes that their crews made in your yards.  Please contact them if you have problems.
